What to Expect from Us
Once your application is submitted, we will guide you through the four stages of our hiring and registration process:

Stage 1: Skills assessment & interview
After your application, we will invite you to do a short skills assessment to establish where your strengths are and what training you’ve had in the past.
After a bit of paperwork, we will have a chat to find out more about your background and availability, tell you more about the work we do at Floris and answer any questions you might have.
Stage2
Reference checks & PVG update Once we have all the necessary documents and forms, we will be contacting your references and update your PVG membership.
We always try to complete this stage of the process as quickly as possible, but as this is managed by Disclosure Scotland, it is subject to their workloads.
Stage 3: Induction training
After the interview and skills assessment, we will book you in for your induction training, including any additional social care training we might need you to complete before starting your work with us.
Stage 4: Ready to start
Once you have completed all stages successfully, you will get your contract, ID badge, tunic and staff handbook.
We will then confirm your availability and book you in for your first shifts!
